I had to sell it to help pay for me going to college. It really hurt, but I figure that an education will benefit me enough to be able to buy another one some day and fix it up. The truck is doing great right now. It is a daily driver for a police officer. I told him about this site about 3 times, and even sent him a link, but still no show on his part. The truck hit a goose at 90 mph and busted out the NOS driver's side headlight door, headlight, turn signal, and slightly bent the grille. He replaced everything the same day it was ruined with parts he had been saving up.. I'm glad he takes care of it!

My next bumpside will be a '67-'69 Shortbed, Custom (no chrome side mildings), fully painted in base coat clear coat. 460/C6!

Sounds like a great truck in your future. I hate you had to get rid of it, but as you say, education will pay off. Nevertheless, it is a nice ride.

i love the pics man, especially the second one with the nylons. the baby blue and white two tone is great, i've always loved those two colors together.

Thanks. That color combo is just about my favorite too. I really like the American Racing rims I put on it too, but I ended up cracking the both rear rims all around the bolts so I had to pitch them. By that time they weren't available anymore so I couldn't replace them(not that they would last any better). They've since offered them again, but now they are clearcoated and it just don't shine like the old chromies did.

Thanks they helped me load it and all. The cluster had the wrong plug so I guess I'm gonna get the 67 plug from the junkyard and try to wire it in. No hurry on the letters whenever you get a chance just send them
