Some things i notice as i get older

1. when laying in the grass enjoying the park people come and ask if im ok.
2. when i get up or sit down, its followed by a arrrg or uugg!!
3. i realize i will never get carded for alcohol ever again
4. we get awesome pill collections
5. i no longer say i will pee in the morning
6. im starting to say " back in the day"
7. i can no longer help people move heavy items without someone saying " is your back ok "
8. im starting to call 20yr olds kids
9. i realize the importance of coffe
10. when i go to the doctors its no longer for a routine check up , its to fix something
11. when the womens in the mood, im the one with a headache,

When I bend over to tie my shoes, I look around to see if there's anything else that needs doing as long as I'm down there.

Who the heck bends over to tie their shoes? I use velcro so I don't have to stay down there that long and put my foot up on a chair or couch or who ever is closests. # bad discs. ]

gave me a flashback, when i was a kid they sold traxxx at kmart, with velcro, thought i was coolest kid in school

I think #6 is just a phrase that is over-used by even the teenage generation (at least in my area). I often hear it (and sometimes use it) to mean "in some undefined time in the past", and things have now changed. For example, "back in the day before everyone in their dog had a cell phone..."

I started using #8 about the time I turned 25 and I was talking about "college kids", as I realized I had moved on from that life stage.
