Good thread, maybe I should lower the 68 3 or 4"s so it would be a little easier to plant my old rear on the seat.

Rany, how did you lower your truck? I've just ordered Dream Beams from DJM and was wondering what you used.

To Everyone: Yes, the blue truck on Pg 64 IS photoshopped. The lines are too crisp and the shaddowing is wrong or not complete.
To 96crawler: Whoever that truck belongs to, needs a handshake. I really really really love that truck, and I believe I just found myself drooling.

My compliments to D.J. Wyman. Nice truck and love the smoothies. Only thing is turn off your dome light. Its been on for days. it'll run your battery down! Just kidding. Great looking truck though.

Oh and those are dodge 20" spares. I want to make this truck the "parts runner" for my other projects so I'm gonna keep the outside old looking but the inside is all getting redone.

The truck is not currently bagged but it will be. I have all of the parts I am just waiting to get back to the states to get it done. Its all just laid out right now. Not drivable.
The dreams beams are laying on the frame (notched through the xmember). I really really want to go lower but keep this lug pattern and cost down. I love the look of these wheels too. Will look great as a parts getter!

Re: bumps with lowered altitude!! (lots of great custom bumps!!)
I like that. I've never seen anyone get that low with Beams! ...I know they're dropped beams, but man that's in the weeds. Good job. I've been away for a while, so I probably missed any new lowering tricks that may have been discovered....but hey, well done.
I know the front X-member really hangs low so I bet you had to notch the snot out of it to get that far down.
I'd like to see how you did it. Is there a write up on it somewhere here yet? I bet there's others who'd like to see a way to slam their truck & still keep their Beams.
How does it ride like this?
