C-6 build

Can anybody tell me any little tricks for a hard hitting C-6, plan on going with a good shift kit and a billet servo> Anything else out there?

Hi & welcome, there are lots of opinions & able minded folks on here, I am only one..First we need more info
Year, make, model, engine size, engine mods,tire size, axle ratio, all you can provide will be helpful
Street, strip, or both.....You want firm & crispy shifts for the most part, not bangy.............remember the old adage: HARD SHIFTS BREAKS HARD PARTS.......Unless you have a steel caged planet, bangy shifts will take out your aluminum caged planet splines, this is a weak link on this trans if you over do the shift firmness........Donnie

69 1/2 ton 2wd. 390, headers, intake, mild cam. just want some hard, tire chirping shifts

TransGo makes a nice kit, there are several options available.......Check what they offer, you may want the "Tow or GO" kit.
