1984 Sumerset Houseboat, it has a 140 Inline 4 Mercruiser powering it. Should be a lot of fun this summer!

Happy sailing!
Ha ha, you are correct, since age 6 I have always had a boat, this is by far the biggest ever! Someone summed it up correctly it has all the problems of a Boat, Vehicle and a Home!!! I guess there are worse things than being an Ex-Squid, you could have always been Coast Guardbasketcase0302 wrote:Aha...and Army guy playing squid/sailor LOL!![]()
And to think of how many of my Army and USMC buddies raz me for being an ex squid...![]()
Two happiest days in a boat owners life, (coming from owning a $50K airboat for 6 years)?
THE DAY THE OWNER BUYS IT-AND THE DAY THE OWNER SELLS IT!
I saw many deals like this when I moved back to Chattanooga and almost traded the home for lake life, (but hiking round the lakes in the winter made me wake up to that hard cold lifestyle)!
That will make many good memories for sure and good decision to replace the boots first thing.
Would also recommend getting not one but two, (or even three for this boat) bilge pumps, (if it has much of a bilge)!
I'd had top of the line automatic bilge pumps fail me and luckily the next morning not enough water to list the boat much.
