20" Dodge spares and 255/50/20 Michelin's......I just installed the original heavier duty springs with 1.5" coils cut and it sits level and rides much better

This was with 2 coils out of the front (too much) it was on the bump stops. the rear has 1 leaf out and DJM shackle drops
I since then put stock springs minus 1 coil. Much better ride and still looks cool. (it has DJM beams).

So, I've been wondering...where's td? He's the guy that started this thread. Am I missing something? I'm going to check his posts right now. I've always liked his truck.

[ Image ]Way cool stance...so, did you paint the whole truck with a satin red (Rangoon Red?), not clear it, or use a flattened clear? I love the look of it!
Good to see that you check in once in a while...I miss your truck too!
after u have one done for a while its easy to forget just how much work and time you havein one, then you start looking for another and remember just what it takes to bring a rough old truck up to those standards. not that mine was a show piece but its alota time, money and sweat equity invested to get one to where it was!!...again.....CRY....CRY....CRY!!!!

If it's going to be a really long time before you do the bags go on and do the Dream Beams now.
You won't have any trouble selling the Dream Beams later.
I would love to have another set as I'm sure others would love to have them also.
Welcome aboard,Calvin

Agreed...unless you know how to set up and maintain proper alignment and weld without destroying the integrity of the metal, I wouldn't be trying to fabricate or weld on factory beams.Calvin Gunter wrote:If it's going to be a really long time before you do the bags go on and do the Dream Beams now.
