Hello Everybody

Post by uk2usa »

Hi to you all,

I'm from North West Wisconsin, well for the last 3 years, the previous 42 were spent in the 51st State, also known as the UK
i finally found the truck of my dreams a '68 camper special F250 with a 390 in it... or a 6.4 liter where i come from :D . she has 60,000 miles from new and apart from one patch of rust on a cross member is very solid.
i'm sure i'll be asking lots of dumb questions over the coming months so please bear with me, i'm a fast learner and will try not to be a complete "numpty" (i'm sure the meaning comes through even without translation) for any longer than i need to be!

All the best to you all,

UK2USA.

Thanks for the warm welcome and kind words of encouragement :)

As requested i have attached some photo's of the truck (My Precious) and would gladly welcome any comments, observations or advice you may have on the look of the truck (for instance does it all look original...?)
I intend to fit a slider in the rear glass (i've always wanted one for some reason) but do not want to fit anything that wasn't available in 1968.
Thanks again for you time and interest.

UK'.

(ok, i'm struggling to attach some pictures, i'll try again tomorrow-sorry). :(

Try resizing your pictures. If they are to big they won't attach. :D
