What do you need to know? As far as I can remember there is only one rebuild kit for that transmission, so there is no reason to need knowing it if that is your reason.
Also, IIRC, there is only one ratio for it. If you need ratio, just do some counting.

In that case you will need to provide correct information from the tag.jmc1975 wrote:Would like to know just so I know the year of the trans and just to know more about it.
DKKB0434 is mumbo jumbo. Does not look like anything I have ever seen on a tag. And I have examined tens of thousands of Ford transmission tags during the last 30 years.

That link is totally USELESS to the OP. His transmission is not listed there.Bummer72 wrote:http://www.fordification.com/tech/transID-man.htm

Re: 3 Speed Man trans
This was the only tag I saw. It was on the passenger side. Do I need to look some place else on the trans?

No. The tag riveted to the side of the case is the be all and end all. I suggest you re-examine the tag.jmc1975 wrote:This was the only tag I saw. It was on the passenger side. Do I need to look some place else on the trans?

Re: 3 Speed Man trans
Since I was no help with the last link, I googled "Ford 3 speed transmission RAB", and got several hits. I didn't investigate any of them, but it appears the RAB isn't an unknown item. Maybe you can find what the ratios are on those sites.
