Right in the middle of the job here--69 F-250 2WD--- . . . passenger side axel shaft goes in flush to the housing just fine. Driver's side shaft inserts, finds the grooves, but stops with about 1/4" to go and won't budge. Don't want to force it until I know what's going on. Any suggestions? Thanks, trying to get the rear wheels on!!!

Nevermind folks! It was a problem between the left ear and right ear (mine). I had a tapered dowl still stuck on one of the studs and didn't notice it. I think I worked on the truck too long today!
