I parked my daily driver 71 F250 next to it yesterday while I was at work.
On my way home MY DAMN CLUTCH WENT OUT two blocks from my house!! What gives!!??

I "Felt" a pop when i pressed the clutch in and after that the pedal would engage the clutch but its a LOT lower.
I crawled around under it today and all of the linkage, Z bar and such is ok. When i moved the fork with my hand it moved about an inch or two before i could feel the throw out bearing contact the pressure plate fingers. I'm guessing that a spring broke in the pressure plate or maybe the pivot for the fork?? It still drives but I only went a few blocks with it (using the clutch). The only discernible thing that is wrong right now is the low pedal.
How long do you think it'll go before it just stops working? Am i on the right track with my diagnosis?
Ughhhh.... two clutch jobs in my future...at least I'll be really good at it by the time I'm done
