Thanks Hazelnut, that's really good info. I've been temporarily sidetracked by mechanical issues, and wheel/tire questions (see my other post). I'm still interested in doing the lip trim, but the hood (which I think is original) that's installed is really nice & color matched to the truck. While it may be a little while before I have to really deal with the question, I'm thinking that there may be some options...pop rivets? Riv-Nuts? Access holes drilled in from the inside to access that inaccessible void from the inside (back side) of the hood? I'm not sure how many holes we're talking, I know there's three pieces, two short corners and a long center piece. Wish I had some original bumpsides lying around nearby I could look at for reference!
I guess it's a good question: Has anyone with a '67 - '69 hood installed lip trim? Inquiring minds would like to know...
